(GP or Rheumatologist)

Three Years Fixed-Term


A position is available at the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre for a trainee GP or rheumatologist to undertake a PhD examining the association of gout with cardiovascular disease. Applications from trainees in other relevant medical specialities will also be welcomed. Funded by the NIHR National School for Primary Care Research, you will work on a series of linked projects including a systematic review and meta-analysis, and epidemiological studies nested with existing primary care consultation databases. Structured research training, tailored to the needs of the individual and the demands of their project, will be provided.
