(περίοδος ισχύος: από 01/10/2023 έως 29/02/2024):
Το μεταφράζω στα Αγγλικά:80 years and older, and residents in Nursing Homes:People who are 80 years and older and people living in Nursing Homes for the elderly), are recommended a dose in the fall / winter of 2023.
People who have taken a dose of vaccine after August 1 have good protection against serious disease. The recommendation covers only one dose of vaccine in the fall of 2023, but a dose of updated vaccine is also available for those who have been vaccinated before the updated vaccine was available on the market. At least three months must pass between doses, according to the vaccine's summary of product characteristics.
65-79 years old and people at risk from 18 years onwards:People aged 65-79 years and people at risk aged 18 years and older are recommended to receive one dose in the fall/winter of 2023, with the exception of those who have recently had COVID-19.
People who received a dose of vaccine after August 1 are well protected against severe disease. The recommendation covers only one dose of vaccine in the fall of 2023, but a dose of updated vaccine is also available for those who have been vaccinated before the updated vaccine was available on the market. There must be at least three months between doses according to the summary of product characteristics.
A person in this group who has had verified COVID-19 after August 1, 2023 has good protection against severe COVID-19 and can waive their vaccine dose for the 2023/2024 winter season, provided there is no immune impairment. If there is uncertainty, a vaccine dose is recommended.
50-64 years old:Unvaccinated persons aged 50-64 years are recommended one dose of vaccine in the fall/winter of 2023.
For vaccinated persons aged 50-64 years, there is no recommendation for additional vaccination in fall/winter 2023. However, one-dose vaccination is available for people who wish to be vaccinated for the winter season. For previously vaccinated people, at least 9 months must have passed since the last dose.
18-49 years:For people aged 18-49 years, there is no recommendation for vaccination. However, single-dose vaccination is available for people who wish to be vaccinated for the winter season. For previously vaccinated people, at least 9 months must have passed since the last dose.
Under 18 years old:Since 1 November 2022, the general recommendation on COVID-19 vaccination for children and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years has been removed. This is due to the low risk of serious illness and death from COVID-19 among children and adolescents under the age of 18. The Swedish Public Health Agency recommends vaccination for children and young people only in individual cases and in consultation with the doctor in charge. The Swedish Paediatric Association has defined the situations in which this may be relevant. The child's treating doctor makes an individual assessment of whether the vaccination is needed.
